Farmers’ Museum
The objects and memories that remind us of the past and of the hard life of farmers and woodmen
In Sankt Oswald, a hamlet of Kastelruth, in the old barn of the Tschötscherhof owned by the Jaiders, a small museum has been set up since 2005, in collaboration with the Museum Association of Kastelruth, with the goal of documenting the experience of the ancestors, the faith and the hard and tiring life of the farmers, using objects of the past and various agricultural tools
Numerous finds and their use – from handcrafted tools to agricultural machinery, up to the smallest equipment for domestic use – invite you to a relaxing and instructive journey into the past
